Special wooden sculpture 'Pipe #3' L made of black stained mahogany woodfrom ABSID comes from a limited edition of carved and shaped mahogany sculptures. ABSID is the sculptural output of Stockholm-based artists and architects Maximilian Olsson and André Prusic. Their work combines the use of digital design and manufacturing techniques with traditional crafts to create sculptures that bridge the gap between the physical and digital worlds. This sculpture is made in 2 sizes (S and L) and size L is available in stock. Each sculpture comes with a certificate of authenticity.

ABSID:

ABSID is the sculptural output of two Swedish artists and architects, Maximilian Olsson and André Prusic. Their work combines the use of digital design and production techniques with traditional crafts. Based in Stockholm, they create concrete sculptures that bridge the gap between the physical and digital worlds, in terms of creation and manufacturing techniques.

ABSID's artistic output is based on process and research, exploring themes such as analog-digital transformation, reuse, digital modulation and randomization. This results in special objects that naturally stimulate the viewer's curiosity and at the same time raise many questions. Digitally created shapes are 3D printed as lost molds to cast pigmented concrete. The duo's works are unique and difficult to categorize, but fit perfectly with the program and vision of Modern Shapes Editions.
