Iconic in every way! The BKF chair from Scapa Home, also known as the Butterfly chair, was designed in 1938 and named after its designers Bonet, Kurchan and Ferrari. The Butterfly Chair has become one of the most iconic designs of the 20th century.

The frame of the Butterfly Chair is made of black powder-coated metal. Scapa Home chooses powder coating because it is much stronger than regular paint. The dry coating process of applying pigments to metal surfaces and then curing them with heat creates a durable, protective finish.
