Wine glasses 'Eternal Snow'

Do you remember those glass domes with a winter world inside, which you shook to make snowflakes swirl? A touch of magic, wrapped in glass. It was this enchantment that led designer Bela Silva to create the Eternal Snow glass collection. She gave the four glasses, two tall and two low models, a playful touch by designing the base and the bowl in an imperfect shape. The texture of Eternal Snow is smooth, although the glass is blown in an atypical shape. Playful bubbles are visible in the base. The rounded shapes and soft colours (smoky grey for the base and soft green for the bowl) are inspired by the colours of the night sky.

Bela Silva

Although born and raised in Lisbon, the title of ‘world citizen’ can certainly be attributed to Portuguese artist Bela Silva. She studied in Portugal, the UK and the US, and has explored all possible artistic disciplines. Her work has shared the spotlight in exhibitions with that of Andy Warhol, and her tile art is popular from Brazil to Spain, across China and back to Portugal. She now commutes between Brussels and Lisbon, focusing mainly on her first love: ceramics.
