Inspired by the Bauhaus movement, the Scapa Home design team designed a handcrafted tableware with a modernist design. The organic lines also refer to the rugged mountain ranges and wild nature of the oldest nature park in the region, Peneda-Geres. This also immediately explains the name of the collection.

The substrate is rich in a type of clay that, thanks to its fine grain and resistance to high temperatures, is perfect for stoneware. An important detail, since stoneware tableware can also be used for oven dishes and is much more durable than ceramic tableware made from earthenware clay. After all, Scapa Home always strives for the best quality. A grain has also been added to the protective glaze layer for a dotted effect. The combination with the beige undertone provides a neutral colour palette that allows each dish to come into its own. And each part of the Peneda collection excels as a decorative object.
